Are the dark forces arising Again?

The unveiling of the draft constitution brought hope to many that read it, here was a milestone for a better Kenya, the pride of Africa!! We fought for independence from the colonial government, we fought for the right to join and/ form political parties during the Moi Era government; Many lives were lost, many lives destroyed forever but it was worth it and unnecessary.

Many of the crimes committed against the people of Kenya at the time, were against their Human Rights as now envisaged and stipulated by the Charter of Human Right by the United Nations.

Kenya continues to fight against crimes committed against her even today. The game play hasn’t changed, the crimes being committed against Kenya is now envisaged by the few well off, less patriotic politicians, with the aims of gaining political power for themselves.

How long will this go on? the election year of 2007 rallied Kenya’s smaller tribes into an anti-Kikuyu bloc that sought to end the dominance of Kenya’s largest tribe. Many lives were lost unnecessarily for the few to gain political power for themselves.

Now the devil is in the works, dark forces are meandering in the political circles when we are about to take a leap of  confidence to protected the sovereignty of the people against political hunger for power by the few. We must stop them on their tracks as soon as possible before they postpone, again, a new vision and prosperity of the people of Kenya.

The people of Kenya, this is your moment, this is your opportunity to take control of your destiny, the future of your children, grandchildren, siblings, relatives, your neighbour,  people that you love and care for, depend on the enactment of the new constitution.

Do not let those who are selfish at heart to ruin the future of mother Kenya. This is your moment, your opportunity to vote with your mouth and your feet, do not align with those who are against the  new constitution until it is enacted.

If the draft constitution is not what is expected, lets follow the right legal path to sort out the thorny issues, do not resort to violence, as some are ready to use mass violence to achieve their twisted version of the constitution.

The new constitution will give you the power, you the son and daughters of Kenya. Ask yourself why not?

No more dictators, no more fear of corrupt government officials, no more discrimination on the basis of where you come from but the power to defend yourself because the law is clear, you have the right to be heard, you have the right to protest, you have the right to be protected whether from domestic or foreign foes, you have the right to basic social needs i.e. Health, Education or Housing security. Many more rights are there for your taking.

Do not take your eyes off the ball, this is our moment our opportunity, lets stay steadfast with all motions to the new constitution.

Steadfast Kenyans and Godspeed to you!
